Hotelier Mikhail Avrutin sold an Intracoastal front mansion in Fort Lauderdale, Florida for $23 million on April 30, 2021. The 9,451 Square Foot house has 6 Bedrooms, 7 full bathrooms and two half bathrooms. Built by Sarkela Corp. and designed by Randall Stofft Architects, the beautiful Modern Home is a 2-Story Home with features that include a 200-bottle Wine Cellar, an Elevator, a Pool and a large Dock. Tim Elmes with Compass represented the seller, and Chad Carroll of the same brokerage represented the buyer.
Records show that AV2412 LLC, a Florida corporation managed by Avrutin, sold the home at 2412 Laguna Drive to 125 Ocean Drive Holdings LLC. Avrutin is the owner and developer of Baltic Hotel Group, which operates two hotels in Estonia. He is also the president and founder of AFP of North America, according to his Linkedin page. Avrutin has been active buying and selling houses in South Florida. Last year, he bought a waterfront home in Boca Raton for $5.5 million. And in 2019, he sold a Boca Raton mansion for $13 million.
The hotelier bought the Fort Lauderdale property for $4.9 million in 2018. The next year, he demolished a structure and started construction on a new single-family home, according to Broward County records. Construction of the home was finished this year.
The property is located in the Harbor Beach Community in Southeast Fort Lauderdale. Harbor Beach is a Waterfront Neighborhood with deep Water and wide Canals, offering Ocean access without Fixed Bridges–a great choice for Boaters who dock large Yachts and other Vessels. The Community’s very close proximity to Fort Lauderdale’s Ocean Inlet is a significant advantage as well. Waterfront Homes in Harbor Beach are Intracoastal front, Lakefront, and Canal front. Harbor Beach is located across from the Beach and has its own private Beach Club and Marina.
